Model Categories Seminar

This semester (Spring 17) I am organizing a reading seminar on Model Categories. The seminar will
take place on Fridays from 2:30-3:30 in Leconte 303B.

Description
Model categories were first introduced in 1967 by Daniel Quillen, and
appear in many different settings in algebraic geometry. Our goal
this semester is read through the first two chapters of Mark Hovey's
Model Categories to obtain a working knowledge of the language of
model categories and examples of specific contexts in which they may arise.
