Grading:
There will be three hour exams of 100 points each. Homework will be collected and will count for 100 points. There will be two term papers of 25 points each. The Final will count for 200 points. This makes a total of 650 points. The grade will be base on the total number of points on of the 650 points. The dates of the tests will be:
Test 1 Wednesday, September 25
Test 2 Friday, October 25
Test 3 Monday, November 25
Final Friday, December 13, 5:30AM.
Homework and quizzes:
Some of the homework will be in the form of things your are to know by the next class and "collected" in the form of a short quiz.
There will be not make up exams or quizzes:
If you miss a test, then your score on that exam is 75% of the average of your other test scores including the final. Likewise I will not take late homework.
