TABLE_RECORD_MATCH
Find Close Records in Table

TABLE_RECORD_MATCH is a FORTRAN90 program which searches a table file for the closest pair of records.

The program reads a TABLE file, which is simply an ASCII file with one record per line, each record having the same number of entries, and with optional comments that begin with a "#" character in column 1.

The program reads the table data, and then seeks the pair of records that are closest. The Euclidean norm is used to measure distance.

Usage:

table_record_match file_name
reads the data from file_name and finds the closest pair.
