• Quiz 1 on Wednesday, January 19, is one of the assigned HW problems from 1 -- 4.
• I will post solutions to HW 1--4 after class on January 19.
• In class on Wednesday, Jan. 12, we covered as far as the bottom of page 12 of the typed notes. You are equipped to do Homework problems 1--4.
• In class on Wednesday, Jan. 19, we covered as far as the bottom of page 14 of the typed notes.
• In class on Monday, Jan. 26, we covered until just before the proof on page 17 of the typed notes. You are equiped to do all of the problems 5--7.

• In class on Wednesday, February 9, we covered pages 23 and 24 of the Class Notes.
• In class on Monday, February 14, we covered pages 25, 26, and 27 (Up to Def. 5.7) of the Class Notes.
• Quiz 3 is Wednesday, February 16. The quiz will be one of the assigned Homework problems 14--19.
• In class on Wednesday, February 16, we covered Theorem 5.8 and Questions 5.10 of the Class Notes.
• Quiz 4 is Wednesday, February 23. The quiz will be one of the assigned Homework problems 20--30. Do the best you can. In particular, can answer the questions even if you don't know about null space and column space. (Although the problems are easier when you can use these words correctly.)
• In class on Monday, February 21, we finished section 5 in the Class Notes and got as far as Example 6.2.(d) on page 31 of the Class Notes.
• Monday. February 28 is the last class before exam 2. Be sure to bring your questions.
