Irene Tyuleneva (Volodina)worked on Kolmogorov n-widths of functional class. She published her papers, in particular, in "Analysis Mathematica", and received her Ph.D. in 1986. She held a position of Research Fellow at the Computing Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. Irene deseased in January 1997.
