school Teaching

In the spring of 2019, I made the overly ambitious choice to first teach Vector Calculus and second to present the majority of my lectures in slide format. Some of what came from that semester is quite good (in my humble opinion), while some is certainly quite bad, or at least was a learning experience for me as I discovered the gulf between how I present material and how students actually learn.

At times I leaned heavily on Robert Vandermolen's slides, which can be found here. The added value that I hope my slides provide is that most of my figures are typeset in TikZ, so the source files give an interested instructor a baseline to create similar images off of. The source files are not on this website, but I can provide them to any interested parties.
