Applied and Computational Mathematics with emphases on:

·       Modeling and computation of multiphasic materials (multiphase fluid flows, hybrid materials, liquid crystals, fluid-solid interaction, biomaterials etc.), active matter systems, complex biological systems (biofilms, cell motility, cellular dynamics, active transport, liquid-liquid phase separation etc.)

·       Computational fluid dynamics and rheology of complex fluids (Soft Matter);

·       Nonequilibrium theory (kinetic theory, continuum mechanics theory)

·       Numerical methods for partial differential equations, structure-preserving numerical approximations

·       Data science and machine learning with applications to complex systems in materials science (membranes, liquid crystals), medicine (physiological model, digital twin for lung cancers, epidemic models)

·       High performance computing
