Notes:

  • Interactive DVI (IDVI) files are viewed via a Java applet. As such they do not require an external viewer. However, some effects are not handled by IDVI and Macintoshes experience the usual problems with window size and scrolling.
  • PostScript (PS) files are viewable with ghostview, the public domain PS viewer.
  • DVI files are viewable with dvips; this viewer is not commonly found on PCs and Macs.
All things being equal, IDVI will probably provide the best results for most of the documents found on this page.
