Victor W. Laurie Undergraduate Research Scholarship in Mathematics

...awarded annually to an undergraduate who shows high academic achievement and promise in the area of mathematics. The Undergraduate Advisory Council selects the recipient through a competitive application process. The Chair chooses an appropriate faculty member to assist the student in developing a summer research project. The award was established in 2005 by Victor W. Laurie, an Alumnus of the University of South Carolina and Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at Princeton University.
