General Information


Wavelets have had a major impact on numerical computations, especially in the area of PDE's and signal/image processing. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together experts in various fields to discuss the applications of wavelets and multiresolution analysis to various areas of numerical computation.

Lectures and Format of Workshop:
In order to retain the spirit of a workshop, the number of lectures will be limited. There will be three thirty minute lectures and five fifteen minute lectures each morning. The afternoons will be held free for personal interactions. In October, we shall ask the invited speakers for abstracts of their contributions.

Registration Fee:
There will be no registration fee for the workshop. Coffee and Tea will be provided during breaks. A banquet will be held one evening. The charge for the banquet will be given at the workshop.
