2006 - 2007
Description. The Palmetto Number Theory Series is an opportunity for number theorists in the Southeast to hear about recent research in all areas of number theory. The first meeting will take place December 9-10, 2006, at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. The meeting will consist of two 1-hour plenary talks and several shorter talks. See below for details. It is expected that future meetings, to be held roughly twice a semester, will be hosted by schools within South Carolina (the Palmetto State).
