SMF Files

SMF, a data directory which contains examples of SMF files. The SMF format was used by Michael Garland as an input and output format for his surface simplifying program QSLIM.

Sample Files:

• bones.smf,the bones of the foot;
• cow.smf, a cow;
• cube.smf, a cube;
• cube_face.smf, a cube;
• cube_node.smf, a cube, with RGB colors attached to each node;
• cube_transform.smf, a cube, with using transforms and begin/end blocks;
• three.smf, defines a cube once, then uses it three times in the model;
• slope.smf, looks like a sheet of paper with a "hill" or "slope" running across a diagonal;
