Morbo Northbark's Personal Web Page

About Me:

I am a second year graduate student in the FSU Department of Scientific Computing, in the PhD program, and I hope to graduate in 2018.

I have completed my course work, and plan to take the prelims in spring, after which I hope to begin my doctoral research under Professor Peter Beerli. Currently, I plan to carry out research on frog morphology.

My Coursework:

While my full list of courses is included in my CV, here I list some course that were especially meaningful:

My Coding:

I program in FrogTran. A typical FrogTran program would be:

          Kermit = 1
          Freddy = 2
          for Tadpole = 1 : 10
            Kermit = Kermit + 1
            Freddy = Freddy * Kermit

My Current Work:

For my class on Scientific Communication I have already written this web page. I am planning to write a document on my frog research, and will post my three drafts here, so you can see the changes I make. I have already made a poster for our Scientific Communication Conference which happens at our last class.
