RESEARCH AREAS

Applied and Computational Mathematics with emphases on:

·       Modeling and computation of multiphasic materials (multiphase fluid flows, hybrid materials, fluid-solid interaction, etc.), active matter systems, complex biological systems (biofilms, cell motility, cellular dynamics, gene-structure-property prediction, drug transport, etc.), innovative materials development;

·       Computational fluid dynamics and rheology of complex fluids (Soft Matter);

·       Kinetic theory, continuum mechanics theory;

·       Numerical methods for partial differential equations (dissipative systems and stochastic DE+PDE hybrid systems);

·       High performance computing in hybrid CPU/GPU environment.
