There is a field with a small cottage here, with a path leading from it to the east. To the north and east, you see trees. You hear a stream to the west. The field continues to the south.

There is a wise, old man here. You know he is wise because of his excellent taste in sandals.

The man says, "Hello. I live in this cottage. Come in if you like. I'll follow you as long as you're on this path."

He also says, "I try to keep to this path and my cottage because I think I've broken a few too many things since I got here. I've also never gotten too close to the stream, because I'm afraid of water."

There is a sign over the door of the cottage, which proclaims, "Wise, old man's cottage."
