Title: Bipartite Tur\'an problems and generalized Sidon sets

Abstract:  Tur\'an type problems lie in the focal point of the extremal graph theory. Motivated by  a result of Czipszer, Erd\H{o}s, and Hajnal  on the infinite Tur\'an number of ordered paths,  I will introduce an infinite  Tur\'an number for general bipartite graphs and present some recent work on this direction. Moreover, I will discuss some connections between classical bipartite Tur\'an problems and generalized Sidon sets.
