I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Mathematics at the University of South Carolina. I expect to receive my Ph.D. in May, 2019, under the direction of Dr. Joshua Cooper. I love all things math but when I'm not nerding out I like to get outdoors and explore new places (check out the pics above for some of my favorite experiences).
My research interests lie primarily within Discrete Mathematics. I have worked on projects with applications in Discrete Mathematical Biology, Order Theory, (Finite-Field) Linear Algebra, and Statistical Physics. For information, please see my CV page. Here are some additional research problems that I am interested in.
While at U of SC I have enjoyed teaching a variety of courses, for more please see my teaching page. If you are interested in know what we are working on in Finite Math you can check out my MATH 170 Challenge Questions. In addition to teaching I have enjoyed working as a Graduate Student Teaching Mentor under the guidance of Dr. Sean Yee.
